ABOUT THE PARTNER MANAGEMENT COMMUNITY OF INTEREST

The Partner Management Community of Interest (COI) serves the needs of both the support services and professional services disciplines. In addition to "open participation" in this online discussion forum, the two disciplines meet separately to collaborate on specific issues inherent to partner management best practices.

As a member of this COI you can:
- Ask and answer questions in the discussion forum
- Send an email to members of the group (via link at right)
- Keep current with upcoming meetings and COI milestones

For assistance with this forum--including suggestions, usage information and requests for added functionality such as document collaboration--please contact TSIA's Director of Programs & Community, Shawn Santos at shawn.santos@tsia.com or 858.673.3052.

Hello all,

I thought you might be interested in participating in TSIA's Partner Management Benchmarking Survey.

Participation will give you:

  • Data to justify your support service partner programs to other stakeholders or executives
  • Data to help you revise your support services programs
  • Best Practices in support service partner programs
  • Information that isn't commercially available from any other source on support services partner programs

The information you will provide is confidential in that only you will receive your specific responses back once the survey is complete and compiled.  Your data will be contrasted to all of the other responses so you can understand how your program(s) compare to others in the industry.

Some of the more specific detail areas of the benchmark survey include:

  • Sales and delivery metrics in place to measure support partner performance
  • Partner enablement and training
  • How channel tiers are structured
  • Partner compensation for delivering support
  • How branding is handled between vendor and partner
  • Support delivery program compliance
  • Partner certification practices
  • Support channel cloud trends

This surveyis being driven by TSIA Research and members of the TSIA Support Services Partner Management Community of Interest (COI).  In other words, it is from your vendor colleagues at TSIA, and is intended to benefit all of us and our programs.

If you have further questions about the benchmark survey, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance for your help in completing this important research for our industry..

Kind regards,

Shawn Santos | TSIA
