Guidelines | Code of Conduct

Technology Services Forum and other TSIA-managed online communities were created for everybody with an interest in technology services. This includes industry practitioners, the press, technology vendors, Association members, analysts and so on. However, the nature of the discussions should lean heavily towards benefiting IT services industry professionals.

TSIA communities are open in nature and have few restrictions. However, there are certain guidelines users must abide by to keep communities running smoothly:

  1. Be nice! No flaming. Don't be offensive (not even a little).
  2. Whether or not you're a member of TSIA, please don't share members-only content with non-members.
  3. Please don't explicitly promote your business, products or services. Recommending people, products and services is permitted as long as it is done so in relevant, contextual discussions.
  4. If you have constructive criticism for TSIA, please be tactful. If you have constructive criticism AND we're likely to perceive you as one of our competitors, a direct email to us is the best choice to make.
  5. Please respect different cultural backgrounds, experience, education, technology prowess and "webiquette" of posters.
  6. Don't post confidential, sensitive or protected information from any entity.
  7. Sorry, but we do not currently allow the posting of jobs or career offers in any of our web or social channels.

Questions for TSIA staff:

Although TSIA staff regularly monitors LinkedIn Groups, TechServicesForum.com, Twitter and other channels, we can't always answer questions posted to these channels in real time. If you have a question for TSIA, please visit the TSIA website, call 858-674-5491 or email info@tsia.com.

Reporting abuse / questionable behavior:

To report site abuse, please call or email Shawn Santos: Email - shawn@tsia.com, Phone - 858.673.3052

TSIA's approach to site misconduct:

We reserve the right to ban users, delete specific content or remove all content and profile information associated with any individual user. We'll definitely give a warning or advice to the uninitiated, but will ban any blatant abuse outright.
